L’eau, racine de toute vie, invite au questionnement, dans son essence et dans sa terminologie :

 

En latin : quoi ? (aqua)

En anglais : what ? (water)

En allemand : was ? (wasser)

En hébreu : Ma ? (Maïm)

En arabe : Ma ? (Ma’an)

 

Le titre de l’œuvre et sa réalisation prolongent ce questionnement. « What about water ? » est une représentation murmurée du clapotis de la lumière sur l’eau.

The Title and the implementation of the work of art extend this questioning. « What about water » is a whispered representation of the light on the water.
